Running the AntSnesQt

I have been working with the new Qt UI that I’m going to use with my all emus in the future. The AntSnes Qt is quite close to be ready for first beta release, and the gpsp emu is on pretty good shape too. Here’s a short video of the new AntSnesQt running on my N97.

  4. Thomas says:

this video looks realy great. I hope the course buttons works. then the emu runs finally on my i8910. 😉 I wait for the Beta!!! The sound problems are not solved, or??

  5. Ian says:

    There will be the sounds?

  6. Thomas says:

the most important thing is the control with the touch panel. When this works then im happy. 😉

  7. Jordane says:

You think of port or optimize the emulator version for s60v3? I want very much to play snes on the N95 and this version seems to be perfect gains of 10 to 0 of Vsun. Congratulations!

  8. iRaptor says:

Great work! But what about touch-control, is it playable on 5800?

  9. Thomas says:

the video show touch control. I hope the control of the touch up, down, right and left works. The other buttons are Hardware buttons. Because the symbian S60 V5 have no multitouch.

    I have few questions:
    – Can you set a vibration signal on each press of buttons?
    – Is it possible to hide right or left side of GUI wile playing?
    – will saves from AntSnes work with Snes9x on PC?
Best regards, fan of your work from Russia.

    Where is the beta? 😉

  12. Tom says:

Waiting eagerly for new version of gpsp emu for s60v3

  13. Mikko says:

The next emulator for s60v5 will be gameboy advance or playstation 1 (not possible right?)…

  14. crazyteknohed says:

Hi Summeli, would it be possible to have an option to remove the on-screen controls for N97 users? On top of looking nicer it would also provide some extra screen real estate. Of course, sound implementation would make everything perfect 😀

  15. Arachne says:

Hi Summeli, kudos for your effort and time to bring decent snes emulator to s60v5! And I almost fell off the chair when I read the next project will be GBA emu. I’m eagerly waiting for your future releases. Keep up the great work!

  16. Thomas says:

hi summeli, the touch part in the new version works, or? I mean the up, down, right and left (touch) Buttons. In the old Versions it doesn`t work. When you press the right button, you must press an other button befor you can press the right button again. Is this Problem solved?

    • Summeli says:

at least I’m not able to see this problem with my N97. The buttons on the right side aren’t any better, but now you can map any other keys to these buttons.

      • iRaptor says:

That’s good news! RGBY-buttons are not a problem, they can be remapped by VirtualKey. But, there no hard-buttons for remapping D-Pad (on Nokia 5800). So, if D-Pad is not stucking in new version of AntSnes, then we can finally play on non-qwerty phones.

  17. tanatos says:

Summeli, I remember that you can set d-pad keys on API sensor. Is it works?
